The two variables that affect the performance of your tiki torch oils are contaminated wicks and wicks that are simply exposed too much. You waste tiki torch fuel and encourage excessive smoking when the wick is over exposed. The wicks on your tiki torches or lanterns should not be exposed more than 1/16″ to provide a nice flame - we keep ours flush with the collar and use high-quality, fiberglass tiki torch wicks. Contaminated wicks also contribute to poor performance. If you leave your torches outside and uncovered, your wick is soaking up rain water, and if you change fuels, you need to change the wick too, or dry it before soaking in Firefly Tiki Torch Fuel. You must also empty the torch reservoirs to ensure our safe lamp oil is not mixed with previous fuels as the performance will be compromised.

The small torch fuel bottles, 16- and 32-ounces include a screw-on pour spout for easy filling of oil lamps, tiki torches and outdoor oil lanterns.
